3) Pre-spray the carpet to break up the soil and grease
4) Aggitate the carpet where neccessary, usually in the heavily traffic lanes
5) Rinse the carpet with a mild acidic rinse to prevent re-soiling
6) Extract the soiled water, bacteria, and other contaminants
7) Use specialty spotters to improve any stubborn spots that still exist
8) Re-apply the carpet protection (optional)
9) Groom the carpet where neccessary
